Official flower: Arethusa Bulbosa

Our floral emblem, Arethusa bulbosa (also called Dragon’s mouth or Bog Rose), is a rare indigenous orchid. Small and vivid, it grows at the edge of sphagnum bogs, notably in our own Millington bog.

The flower was chosen because it symbolizes the beauty and the
fragility of our natural environment.
