Temporary relocation of Town Hall services

The construction work at Town Hall is about to get under way. Consequently, services are being relocated for the duration of the work as follows:

• Offices will be housed in two trailers at the Municipal Park (22 Millington Rd.). Staff members will be working both remotely and at the office.
  • The Accueil trailer will house reception as well at the taxation and accounting offices.
  • The Direction, urbanisme, environnement, vie communautaire trailer will house the Administration, Land Use Planning, Environment and Community Life staff. AN APPOINTMENT IS REQUIRED.
  • Given the trailers’ limited space, citizens MUST make an appointment with a staff member before showing up. They should also use online services as much as possible.
•  For the duration of the work at Town Hall:
  • Drop-off points for batteries, corks, pens, etc. are discontinued (use the Magog Ecocentre as an alternative).
  • The Library is closed.
  • Fax and photocopy services are not available.
  • The postal boxes are relocated to the Municipal Park.
  • The deposit box at the front door of Town Hall will no longer be accessible. Citizens must bring their documents or payments to the municipal office during office hours or send them by mail at 21 Millington Rd.
  • The bulletin boards are relocated at the Municipal Park Chalet and at Marché Austin. Public notices will continue to be posted on the Municipality’s website.
• The computer system will be interrupted on September 3 and possibly on September 4; staff members will be unable to access their email.
• The installation of the IP phone system is under way; it should be operational by September 16. Until then, please leave a message on the voice mail.
• As of October 7, and until further notice, Council meetings will be held at the Carrefour (1, Millington Rd.).
  • A few parking spaces will be available at the Municipal Park.
