Church pews for sale!

Here’s your chance to own a genuine piece of Austin’s heritage!

The Municipality is putting the pews of the former St-Austin church up for sale.

• 9 ft pews in good condition (quantity 7) $30
• 9 ft pews used outdoors : (quantity 4) : $20

Interested persons must reserve their pew in advance (one per address) and pick them up (no delivery).

Here is how we will proceed, to give everyone a fair chance:

1. Reservation: On Sunday, November 5, from 10 a.m. to noon only, send an email to info@municipalite.austin.qc.ca. Provide your name, address, phone number and indicate which pew you are interested in. First come, first served! (The pews will be attributed to the buyers in order of email reception.)
2. Confirmation: On Monday, November 7, the winning buyers will receive a confirmation by email with details as to where their pew will be available for pick-up.
3. Pick-up and payment: On Saturday 11 November, buyers must show up between 10 a.m. and noon at the designated location, with a trailer (and muscles) and with cash payment.
   Note : At noon, any pew that hasn’t been picked up will be offered to those present who had missed their chance during the reservation period.

All proceeds will be donated to the Memphremagog Food Bank.
