PUBLIC NOTICE OF ELECTION

Public notice is given to the electors of the Municipality of Austin by Manon Fortin, Returning Officer, to inform them that:

1. The following seat is open for election:

Councillor, seat n^o 4

2. Nomination papers to run as a candidate for the above seat must be filed with the Returning Officer or her designated assistant from September 20 to October 4, 2024, on the following days and times:

Monday to Thursday:  from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and from 2 to 4 p.m.
Friday:                              from 9 a.m. to 12 noon

On Friday, October 4, 2024, the office will be open continuously from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

3. If more than one candidate runs for the seat, you may exercise your right to vote by going to your assigned polling station on the following dates and times:

Polling Day	Sunday, November 3, 2024	10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Advance Poll	Dimanche 27 octobre 2024	12 noon to 8 p.m.

4. Renée Donaldson has been named Election Clerk and has been designated to receive nomination papers.
