IMPORTANT NOTICE to the Users of the Bryant's Landing Boat Ramp

The access gate to the boat ramp will be operational as of Friday, June 28, 2024. From that day on, only card holders will have access to the boat ramp.

Who can get an access card?

 The following owners of a qualifying boat or watercraft can apply for an access card:

• Residents of Austin (property owners and long-term tenants)
• Owners of a parcel of land in Austin
• Non-residents who have purchased a daily or seasonal pass

Short-term renters (31 days or less) are considered non-residents and must purchase a daily or seasonal pass.

Qualifying boats or watercraft

A qualifying boat or watercraft requires a trailer for transport and launching. They are:

• a fishing boat
• a wakeboat
• a pontoon
• a sailboat
• a jet ski

For a boat or watercraft to qualify, the user must hold a seasonal user certificate (boat sticker) or a valid washing certificate.

Access cards will NOT be issued for canoes, kayaks, sailboards, and other such watercraft. However, please wash all watercraft to prevent the proliferation of invasive exotic species.

Residents with properties on Lake Memphremagog: If your qualifying boat or watercraft is launched and retrieved by a marina, be advised that most local marinas will be provided with an access card, so you are not required to get one.

Conditions

• One card per residence/property or per property owner of more than one immovable in Austin.
• One-time fee of $10, payable at the Municipal Office during opening hours. Accepted methods of payment: cash, cheque or debit card.
• Cost to replace a lost or damaged card: $10.

Card Validity

•  Austin residents and season pass holders: until December 31, 2024. Keep your card! It will be activated again the following year, free of charge and upon request, when you renew your annual boat stickers of or seasonal permit.
• Day pass holders: according to the period of validity purchased.
