Austin celebrates your green thumb!

This summer, the City of Austin invites you to showcase your talent! We are excited to relaunch the Flowered Homes contest, this time with a new addition: the Gourmet Gardens category.

No matter the scale of your projects—whether you have a large yard or just a simple planter on a balcony—every effort counts toward beautifying our shared environment. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, everyone is invited to participate in this wonderful initiative.

Two categories to inspire you:

Flowered Homes: to showcase your most beautiful gardens and flower-filled balconies.
Gourmet Gardens: to reward the originality of your vegetable, fruit, or herb arrangements.

Prizes to be won: A total of six $50 prizes will be awarded (three winners selected by random draw per category).

How to enter? It’s very simple! You have until September 1st to send a photo to the following address: environnement@municipalite.austin.qc.ca.
