Soirée Passion: Therapeutical Cannabis

Friday 2 November 2018

The « Passion Evenings » series resumes with a presentation on therapeutical cannabis:

Did you know that the use of medicinal cannabis has been legal in Quebec since 2001 and that it is regulated by the Quebec Cannabis Registry, headed by McGill University and the College of Physicians? Many don’t know that cannabis can be used for cancer, arthritis, anxiety, epilepsy, fibromyalgia, ADHD, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson’s, Crohn’s disease, glaucoma, tinnitus, depression and AIDS, as well as other diseases. And did you know that the cannabidiol (CBD) contained in the plant is an effective, anti-inflammatory agent that has no euphoric side effect?

One of our fellow citizens, Mrs. Véronique Lettre, will present it all out in layman’s terms by relating her extraordinary path, with both energy and a great deal of humour.
